So I avoided writing a post about the TSA hoopla (one might still come out of that yet…), but this Comcast stuff seems to be hitting close to home, since I’m a Comcast “customer”, a Netflix Subscriber, and a Net Neutrality aficionado. In the most recent hysteria, Time Warner has come out in support of Comcast. Comcast’s original response to Level 3′s complaint really kinda pissed me off.

New Job, New Challenges
[Purdue release];
So for those who weren’t already aware, on October 7th I gave my two weeks notice to my supervisor at Purdue. After just over 21 months, I was ready to be free of that place. Well, I was ready to be free much farther back than that, but I was finally presented an opportunity too good to pass up in favor of the stability and large perks that Purdue offered.
My Take on Net Neutrality…
So I have to give kudos to the guy running packetlife.net. Its a great site for networking nerds like me, and he’s got some really awesome cheatsheets available. But he had a post this week that really struck a cord: Why network neutrality is a big deal. I dumped a less-edited version of this into the comments, but I wanted to flesh out the thought and post it here as well.
